Product Description

The all-new Thinkware Q200 is the perfect harmony between design and performance. Encased in an industry award-winning design lies a new and improved 4MP Omnivision image sensor that delivers strikingly clear video quality in 2K QHD. Its advanced driver assistance system can warn you of potential forward collisions and lane departures along with alerts for red light cameras and speed cameras. The Q200’s Image Sensors allow constant front 2K QHD resolution recording during both daytime and nighttime along with a 125°wide angle lens to minimise blind spots.

Multiple Recording Modes

The Thinkware Q200 dash camera has three recording modes. By default, the camera will record in Continuous mode, it will only switch to Incident or Manual recording if an incident occurs.

Continuous Recording:
This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. The footage is stored in one-minute files for ease of video playback and downloads.

Incident Recording:
If an impact is detected, the camera will store a 20 seconds video, 10 seconds before and after the impact, into the incident section of the SD card. This makes finding the footage easier and protects it from being overwritten.

Manual Recording:
Manual recording works the similarly to incident recording, when the manual recording button is pressed on the camera it will save the 10 seconds before and after into a separate section of the SD card.

Parking Mode Options

When the Thinkware Q200 is hard-wired into your vehicle, you can utilise their leading parking mode options. Depending on your requirements, you can select one of the four options below. In each case, once the vehicles battery reaches 12v, the dash camera will shut down to protect the vehicle’s battery.

Motion Detection
Monitor and capture any motion around the vehicle for potential vandalism attempts.

Impact Detection
Using the built-in G-sensor the Q200 will monitor for any impacts to the vehicle while it is parked to catch any incidents.

Time-Lapse Parking Mode
Time-lapse mode records at 2 frames per second (FPS) to reduce the size of the video file. This allows the Q200 to stay in parking mode for longer than using motion or impact detection, protecting your vehicle for longer.

Energy Saving Mode
When in use, the Thinkware Q200 will go into sleep mode, once the G-sensor detects an impact the camera will wake up within a second and start recording for the next 20 seconds. This is ideal for those who leave their vehicle unattended for extended periods of time, such as in long term car parks, to have the maximum time in parking mode.

Built-In Features

GPS
When the GPS antenna is connected to the Thinkware Q200 you are then able to get the vehicles precise speed and location information. This can then be overlaid on the video footage to provide irrefutable video evidence of any incident that occurs. When the GPS is connected, you are also able to make use of the safety camera alerts available.

Safety Camera Alerts
Get audio warnings from your cash cam when approaching a wide variety of road safety cameras

Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)

The Q200 features a variety of assistance systems to keep you safe whilst driving. The three available systems are:

Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)

Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

Mobile App

Using the Q200’s built-in Wi-Fi you are able to connect your iOS or Android device to the camera, allowing you to watch and download previously recorded video footage as well as amend any camera settings.
